About the Speaker

Danielle Green, Esq.

Danielle Green is an attorney who advocates for and represents children with special education needs. Danielle’s passion was ignited by her experience navigating the public school system to obtain special educations services needed for her son to be able to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. As a result of this experience, she opened her own legal advocacy special education practice, Exceptional Children Special Education Advocacy LLC in 2019 to use the knowledge gained advocating for her son and for friends and family to serve other parents of children with special needs. Her personal story, combined with her legal background, provides her a unique perspective which better enables her to support the parents - and children - she represents. She understands the struggles her clients face, and she also understands how to obtain the free appropriate public education to which every child is entitled. Her clients today include students of all ages from preschool to age 22 with challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, intellectual disabilities, legal blindness, brain injuries, specific learning disabilities, including dyslexia, complex trauma, emotional disabilities, communication impairments, medical issues, and behavioral issues. Danielle began her legal career in the financial services industry, where she was able to develop and sharpen her leadership, written and verbal communication, data analysis, active listening, and negotiation skills. These skills allow her to better serve her clients. Danielle received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and the Special Needs Advocacy Network (SPAN).
