What if I can’t make it to the LIVE Webinar recording?

No worries if you can’t make it.  Most of our LIVE Webinars will be recorded for later viewing.   If you purchase tickets to the LIVE Webinar and can’t make it at the last minute please email us to let us know.  We can get you access to the recorded version.   

What technology or equipment will I need to access a LIVE Webinar through SLP Nerdcast?

In order to participate in our LIVE Webinars you will need access to:

  • A computer or mobile device with the Zoom Client for Meetings app installed.

  • A stable, adequate internet connection (broadband, high speed, etc.)

  • Speakers or headphones adequate for listening to the webinar

We highly recommend testing your system before the webinar begins to make sure your equipment is adequate.  You can do this by visiting the Zoom Test Meeting site.

How do I register for a LIVE Webinar?

You can register for our LIVE Webinars on the Events page.  Click the “Buy tickets” button.  You must create an account and register with our system in order to purchase tickets.  Please note that the information you use to register for the event is what will be used to process your ASHA CEUs.  If your information is registered incorrectly your ASHA CEUs may not be processed properly.

Can I earn ASHA CEUs for a LIVE Webinar?

Yes! The number of ASHA CEUs offered for the course will be listed on the Events page.  In order to earn ASHA CEUs for a LIVE Webinar you must participate in the entire course, complete the post test, course assessment and feedback form within 7 days of the LIVE Event.  Additionally, log ins and log outs from the LIVE Webinar will be monitored.  You are expected to be present for the entirety of the LIVE Webinar to receive credit.

What can I do if I have tech / troubleshooting issues?

To prevent or address tech issues we recommend the following:

  • To ensure your computer is prepared, join a Zoom test meeting.

  • Close all other windows/programs 

  • If other devices are connected to the same network remove those devices

  • Use a hard-wired connection 

  • Try another web browser

How can I ask questions during the LIVE Webinar?

A microphone is not required to ask a question during a LIVE Webinar.  You can use the Zoom Q & A feature to type your question into the Q & A box.  You can choose to do this anonymously. 

Are accommodations available?

What are your registration and cancellation policies?

Our LIVE Webinars have limited capacity (100 participants). We cannot guarantee that everyone that wants to participate will be able to attend - participation is first come, first serve. If you purchase a ticket and cannot make it please let us know ASAP and we can alter your ticket for access to the recorded version.  All participants must register for the course 24 hours before the start of the event. There are no refunds for tickets purchased to LIVE Webinars outside of extenuating circumstances.  If a course is cancelled by SLP Nerdcast a full refund will be issued at the time of cancellation. What are your other LIVE Webinar policies?

Great question! 

  1.  The vast majority of our LIVE Webinars are recorded for later viewing.  If you submit a question or participate in a discussion during the LIVE Webinar you are consenting to this recording and agreeing to our terms of service.

  2. We expect all participants who ask questions or engage in discussion during a LIVE Webinar to conduct themselves professionally and adhere to all privacy laws.  Any violation of this may result in your removal from the webinar, possibly forfeiting eligibility to earn ASHA CEUs.

  3. If you purchase tickets to a LIVE Webinar and cannot make it you will have the option to watch the recorded version within a specific time frame.  Please contact us for more information.

  4. Our refund policy does not cover purchases to a LIVE Webinars that you did not attend.
