J Scott Yaruss, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-F, F-ASHA
J. Scott Yaruss is a professor of communicative sciences and disorders at Michigan State University and president of Stuttering Therapy Resources. Yaruss is the author or co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed journal authors, as well as more than 250 other publications on stuttering, including the Overall Assessment of the Speaker's Experience of Stuttering (OASES), and several practical guidebooks about stuttering therapy. He has also given more than 700 continuing education / professional development workshops around the world designed to help speech-language pathologists feel more comfortable and confident in their ability to help people who stutter and their families.

Kate is a dually certified SLP / BCBA with 13 years of clinical experience working in private practice, outpatient clinics, outpatient hospital settings, and consulting to private schools and legal teams. She specializes in augmentative alternative communication, autism and associated disorders, language development, and integrating AAC into the educational/vocational programming of persons with behavioral needs.
