Danielle Brimo, PhD, CCC-SLP
Danielle Brimo is an associate professor and graduate program director of the Davies School of COSD at Texas Christian University. She leads the SynTax Assessment Intervention liteRacy (STAIR) lab. The mission of STAIR is to support the educational success of children with developmental language disorder (DLD) by developing and validating language and literacy interventions and by increasing caregivers’ and teachers’ knowledge of language and literacy strategies. Dr. Brimo’s research focuses on improving the syntactic skills of school-age children to support their spoken language, written language, and reading comprehension.
Speech and Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst Kate Grandbois
Kate is a dually certified SLP / BCBA with 13 years of clinical experience working in private practice, outpatient clinics, outpatient hospital settings, and consulting to private schools and legal teams. She specializes in augmentative alternative communication, autism and associated disorders, language development, and integrating AAC into the educational/vocational programming of persons with behavioral needs.
