Learning Objectives & Course Description
This presentation will cover the neuroscience of music and music-based interventions for speech and language disorders. The presenter will also discuss the different treatment approaches from an inpatient to community-based program for a variety of populations, including stroke, TBI, PD, and MS.
After attending participants will be able to:
1. Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the neuroscience of music and how that transfers to the clinical application of neurologic music therapy interventions.
2. Participants will learn different music-based treatment approaches for speech and language disorders across the care continuum.
