What is LEAHP

Leadership in Education and Allied Health Professions

Our Why

Leadership skills are not job titles. All clinicians and educators have the capacity to develop leadership skills.

Our Mission

To hold space for conversations related to leadership and professionalism for clinicians and educators

Our Goal

To leave professionals with actionable steps to create change in their professional lives

The LEAHP 2023 Theme:
Advocacy

Advocating for change in the workplace is a critical leadership skill that does not necessarily come with a job title. You can be an advocate for change and a leader in your setting regardless of your role in the workplace.

Advocating for improved working conditions, salary and compensation, equitable and diverse spaces, reducing burnout, and better relationships with management are all leadership skills that each of us is capable of acquiring.

Better working conditions, fair financial compensation, and adequate emotional bandwidth means we have the time to focus on what matters: delivering evidence-based interventions that support our clients.
